Victoria Male

Victoria Male

victoria@yourbiggestfangirl.com

For Victoria, she believes that fandom is all about allowing inspiration to consume you and celebrating one’s passion. She works in the film industry at an A-list production company for a director/producer at the helm of a fan-favorite franchise. Some of her fangirling highlights in the City of Angels include helping Stan Lee buy a pair of jeans, getting jazzy with Jeff Goldblum, and meeting many a celebrity crush without being tackled by security.  These experiences in addition to her occupation make her the perfect person to take fangirls behind the scenes of their favorite media; she’s been on both sides of the proverbial barricade and is intent on sharing her tips and tricks to help fangirls have epic fan experiences of their own. She fangirls the hardest over the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Smallville, Harry Potter, musical theater, plus anything and everything British.

Kristen Chavez

Kristen thinks that being a fan is about accepting every strong emotion that comes with the things you love. She has cried over nearly every form of media. To the people that know her, this surprises no one. As a multimedia specialist in higher education, Kristen complements Victoria’s practical fangirl knowledge with her academic insights that creates the thoughtful discussion on the podcast. She blends her immersion in academic environment with her experience interning in Los Angeles as well to offer perspective to fangirls beyond conventions and binge-watching. Her current fandoms include Star Wars, the CW “Arrowverse”, Harry Potter, Supernatural, Hamilton, and Sailor Moon. A fangirling highlight for Kristen is when she grabbed one of the very first photos with Henry Winchester and John Winchester from Supernatural, in flower crowns no less!

Raves & Reviews

On the ‘10 Rules of Fangirling Like a Pro’ :

“It’s a good way to navigate in a world where you’re not fully accepted yet…. It had some good tips like how to dress geeky at work and still come out and be proud of your geek, but not to go overboard to the point where someone might ridicule you or make you feel bad or things like that.” – Monica, Podcast Co-Host & Contributor at Temple of Geek
